‘They killed Zeda’: Chise shows the protests in Luanda after the death of Jose Eduardo dos Santos

Following the death of José Eduardo dos Santos this Friday, protests took place in the Angolan capital Luanda by some supporters who, like the daughters of the former Angolan president, support the thesis that “Zedu” was the victim of an attempted murder.

Chise dos Santos, who, while paying tribute to his father on social media, took the opportunity to “hurl barbs” at current Angolan President João Lourenço, showed a video of several hundred people mourning the death of the former president, while some shouted: ” They killed our father, they killed Zeda.”

In videos posted on social media, some protesters can also be heard demanding João Lourenço’s resignation by yelling “Get out!”
