According to the commentator CMTV, Joaquim Leonardo, this declared state is “extremely important” for the country, as it is a tool that allows it to be ready for any scenario, including the worst of all. This instrument refers to the basic law that governs civil protection.
In such an emergency, “all fire fighting equipment should be prepared to the maximum level,” the commentator added, meaning they should be available to all incidents without exception, such as firefighters, security forces, forest sappers and all other members of the protection and assistance force.
Joaquim Leonardo also mentions the importance of emphasizing that a high degree of fire prevention is not possible if the population also does not show a cooperative response, since at the moment there is a lot of pressure on the national structure due to active events.
