In Israel, people over the age of 40 have been receiving a third dose of Covid-19 vaccination since Friday; the US wants to start booster vaccinations in September. Vaccine researcher Leif Erik Sander from the Charité in Berlin explains that a so-called boost could also be considered in this country: In younger people, the antibody levels have not yet dropped significantly six months after the vaccination. “With older people it looks like it could possibly go faster.”
