The Congressional Committee on the Capitol Hill Robbery has so far held seven public hearings, presenting evidence of attempts to rig the election results involving Donald Trump and the planning of the January 6, 2021 attack.
The hearings, starting on June 9, were chaired in turn by several members of the bipartisan panel, with sworn testimony from former allies of Donald Trump, high-ranking officials from states such as Georgia and Arizona, former White House officials, and even one of the participants in the attack.
The “puzzle” the commission is putting together is based on more than a thousand interviews, some of which will be turned over to the Justice Department for the purposes of a criminal investigation.
