The secretary of defense said this Friday that she “sees very well” all the investigations needed to find out what is needed in regards to the alleged Navy food diversion.
“Of course, I cannot refer to this case, because I do not know, this is the secret of justice. what the competent authorities should investigate,” said Helena Carreiras on the sidelines of a visit to the social complex Nossa Senhora da Paz, owned by the Liga dos Combatentes, in Porto.
Correio da Mañan adds that “the Military Judicial Police is investigating a scheme to divert food and, most likely, fuel from naval units.”
In the news, CM declares that the Military Judicial Police confirmed yesterday [quinta-feira] “the existence of the execution of several search warrants in different locations within the framework of a criminal process supervised by the Department of Investigations and Criminal Affairs (DIAP) of the Almada Prosecutor’s Office, which is subject to the secrecy of justice regime.”
