The proposal of the Government to change the legal regime for the entry, stay, exit and expulsion of foreigners from the national territory, among other things, stipulates that the granting of residence and temporary stay visas to citizens of the state in which they are located The Agreement on the Community of Portuguese-speaking Countries (CPLP) does not depend on the preliminary conclusion SEF, “without prejudice to the issuance of visas communicated to the SEF for the purpose of exercising its powers in matters of internal security.”
