José Abraão, Secretary General of the Union of Public Administration and Public Service Workers (Sintap), met this Wednesday with Minister of Health Maria de Fatima Fonseca, who promised, according to the official, “to forward the minutes of negotiations as soon as possible” so that negotiations can start in September and “the process could be completed by the end of the year.”
To Health Minister Sintop expressed “willingness to negotiate” as he advocates “career evaluation” in the sector, José Abraao told Lusa.
Wednesday’s meeting was convened by the Department of Health, and its only point of view was the new career of an auxiliary medical worker, which is included in the state program and which, according to the union, could reach 20,000 to 30,000 workers in the National Health Service. .
