A shortage of personnel at GNR posts on Margem Sul meant that on Tuesday evening the closest patrol that responded to domestic violence and theft that took place at Monte de Caparica, Almada was in Sesimbra, 30 km from the entry. When the military arrived at the scene, the attacker had already fled.
According to CM’s information from GNR sources, a woman was beaten and robbed by a man she had been in a relationship with for three months in Monte de Caparica. The couple were at home, they had a fight, the man hit her with his fist and began to break objects and furniture. He left the apartment with money, a wallet and personal documents of the victim.
The warning came to GNR Trafaria shortly after 21:00, but since there was no patrol at this post – it was the only one in the area of Trafaria, Charneca and Costa de Caparica, and it was crushed – it was necessary to call the means of GNR Sesimbra, further 30 km .
The suspect has already fled. His identity will be established, but he has not yet been found or detained yesterday. The woman supported the complaint and refused to go to the hospital.
