The Russian Embassy in Madrid decided to use Twitter to convince citizens to move to Russia. However, the arguments they use have sparked controversy on social media.
The 53-second video comically addresses the Spaniards and lists the hardships they will have to face in the coming winter – not least because it ends with the famous line from Game of Thrones: “Winter is coming (winter is coming).”
So far, no one has figured out if this invitation is serious or just an embassy marketing strategy, but the truth is that there are some outraged comments on the social network.
“Delicious cuisine, beautiful women, cheap gas, rich history, world famous literature, unique architecture, fertile land, cheap electricity and water, ballet, cheap taxis and delivery services, traditional values, culture that cannot be canceled, hospitality, vodka and economy , capable of withstanding thousands of sanctions,” can be read in images that are trying to convince social network users to move to Russia.
