The 16-year-old was brutally beaten early Sunday evening during the Tribute of Afrohouse music festival, which was held at the Estádio do Restelo stadium in Lisbon.
This was announced by an official source of the PSP Lisbon Command. CM that the situation was discovered only at 21:00 this Sunday, when the agents assigned to the satisfied guard of the festival were called to the infirmary that served the event.
The nurses and doctors on duty told police that the young man’s injuries were assessed as serious.
In addition to bruising all over his body, the medical team drew the attention of the PSP to the urgent need to transport the minor to hospital with suspected intracerebral trauma.
An ambulance was immediately called and taken to the pediatric department of Santa Maria Hospital.
The PSP was able to identify and contact the mother of the young man who was attacked, notifying her to go to the hospital and accompany the victim.
The same police source told our newspaper that there were no arrests or identifications related to the violent attacks, adding that the PSP was aware of video footage of beatings and other disturbances that took place during the music festival.
