The PSP detained two fans who were throwing objects and injuring police officers during the football match between Sporting de Braga and Celta de Vigo played on Friday, which was announced today, by the police.
The PSP statement said the detainees, aged 19 and 30, were notified to appear before the Judicial Court of the District of Braga.
A PSP source told Lusa that the incident took place before the game while the fans were on their way to the Municipal Stadium of Braga.
He added that three police officers were injured, one of them required hospitalization.
Two detainees support Sporting de Braga.
The presentation of the game to its fans “Sporting de Braga” in the game against the Spaniards “Celta de Vigo” is questionable.
The game ended with the victory of the Minho club with a score of 2: 1.
