According to a newspaper report, Hungary’s Prime Minister Viktor Orban (59) was rescued from distress at sea during a vacation in Croatia. “His inflatable boat broke, so I brought him, his wife and his bodyguard to shore,” journalist Boris Vrkic told the daily Slobodna Dalmacija. He also gave the newspaper, for which he used to work himself, a photo that shows him with Orban in his boat.
The incident happened over the weekend in a bay on the island of Vis. Orban was in a good mood during the rescue operation, Vrkic continued. He then recommended him a fish restaurant above Rukavac Bay.
