Sometimes you have the feeling that Armin Laschet is not the Union’s candidate for chancellor, but Markus Söder from the CSU. Says “important today” in the podcast stern-Author Tilman Gerwien: “Markus Söder is a power animal. He probably already has the feeling that he smelled the Chancellery.” Yes, and he just can’t get that smell out of his nose anymore. The two have a different style: “It’s like a column of pushers: Markus Söder is someone who kicks in the doors. In the end, however, Söder should be very interested in Laschet ending up in the Chancellery.
