Swedish police said on Friday they had evacuated part of a mall in the city of Malmö after the shooting.
“There was shooting at the Emporia shopping center in Malmö,” the statement said. “Police with a lot of resources are on the scene and the place is cordoned off.” The statement does not provide any further information, but police say the attack has already ended.
This was stated by police spokesman Jimmy Modine. Daily Dagens Nyheter that two people were injured in the attack. Modin said he had no information on the severity of the injuries.
