Poor poll numbers: Chancellor Olaf Scholz and his traffic light government are not well received by Germans. In an earlier survey, the values looked very different.
According to a survey, Olaf Scholz cannot convince a majority of Germans with his work as chancellor. In a representative survey by the opinion research institute Insa for the “Bild am Sonntag”, 62 percent of those questioned stated that they were dissatisfied with it.
Only 25 percent rated Scholz positively. The verdict on the traffic light coalition was similarly poor: 65 percent rated the work of the federal government negatively, 27 percent said they were satisfied. A general assessment of the Chancellor and the traffic light coalition was asked, not for specific issues.
According to “Bild am Sonntag”, in a comparable survey at the beginning of March, 46 percent of those questioned were still satisfied with Scholz’s work, only 39 percent stated that they were dissatisfied with it. At the time, 44 percent said the traffic light coalition had done a good job, while 43 percent had a different opinion.
