The 20-year-old young man has been missing since 3:00 am on Saturday, when he was returning by bus from the Paredes de Coura festival. Leonardo da Silva traveled with a friend but never returned to his aunt’s house in Montijo.
“I don’t know anything about my son.” Leonardo’s mother told CM that he cannot contact his son for several days because his mobile phone has “no signal”. According to a friend whom the mother does not know, during the festival, young people used marijuana, which the son would never try, the mother says.
The family with the boy lives in the UK but vacations in Portugal. The young man went with a friend to the Paredes de Coura festival, returned by bus from Braga to Queluz, and his friend left the young man at Queluz station, but he never returned to his family. Mother and Leonardo had a flight scheduled for this Tuesday to return home.
According to his mother, Leonardo suffered a psychotic break when he contracted Covid-19 and was hospitalized.
“Go home, son,” Leonardo’s mother leaves a call for the boy to reappear.
