Ines Drummond, leader of the PS councilors in the Lisbon Chamber, was chosen to lead Movijovem (the organization that runs youth hostels). He will receive a gross salary of 3,212.12 euros per month, the Observador advances.
In the municipalities, in September 2021, the PS ceded the municipality to the PSD. Thus, the elected councilors of the PS do not receive any salary, forcing some to combine these functions with other paid positions. This is the case of Ines Drummond, who has been heading Movijovem since July.
The adviser was appointed by the president of the Portuguese Institute of Sports and Youth, Vítor Pataco, who was the former sports adviser to António Costa when he was in the Lisbon Chamber, and also the head of the Strategic Council of Movijovem. Ines Drummond confirmed the accumulation of positions, but ruled out any incompatibility. no hotspot
