After weeks of hesitation, Baerbock refused an interview because no date could be found.
The “Bild am Sonntag” has published a largely empty page on which an interview with Green top candidate Annalena Baerbock should have been. “This is your side, Ms. Baerbock!” stood above it. And further: “The Chancellor candidate of the Greens could have explained here how she wants to govern after the federal election, what makes her tick, what values shape her.” After weeks of hesitation, Baerbock refused an interview because no date could be found.
A Green spokeswoman told the German Press Agency on Sunday: “There are a large number of inquiries. Unfortunately, due to scheduling issues, not all of them can be served. “
As a footnote, the “Bild am Sonntag” wrote on the bottom of the page that Baerbock was the first Green top candidate who did not have time for an interview with the newspaper before a federal election.
