Ivan Sushko, the pro-Russian head of the administration of the Ukrainian city of Mikhailovka in the Zaporozhye region, died Wednesday after an explosive device exploded in his car, Russian authorities in the region said.
“August 24, 2022 will go down in the history of Mikhailovka and the entire Zaporozhye region as a tragic date. On this day, Ivan Sushko died as a result of a deliberate bombing of his car by terrorists (President of Ukraine Volodymyr) Zelensky.” Council of the Ukrainian province Vladimir Rogov.
According to Kremlin-appointed members of the regional council, CCTV cameras caught the explosion of the car in which Sushko was traveling with her adopted daughter as she was taking her to kindergarten.
