Sustainable Energy Ageas Seguros

Ageas Seguros and Correio da Manhã are back together to celebrate. On August 12 in Braga, they got to work and set foot on the road (literally), and the word for sustainability again took the floor in an initiative that was not lacking in color, energy and good humor.

This initiative included the participation and activation of Ageas Seguros intermediaries in stores: Dionísio Sampaio LDA, Quercia III Mediação de Seguros LDA and Sampaio Mediação de Seguros LDA.

Towards a cleaner future

If walking along the streets of the “City of the Archbishops” is a pleasure, then why not combine business with pleasure? Armed with an eco-friendly kit, a custom t-shirt, gloves and 100% recycled bags, many Braga residents have joined the Ageas Seguros team to clean up the city. According to Marta Vicente, responsible for branding and communications at Ageas Seguros, it was a real “ecological walk, during which we collected the garbage that we found on the ground, which will have an artistic purpose”, which had “a very positive contribution from the entire community who was here to support this initiative.”

In the end, after each participant weighed their collection, the success was complete: from the Market to Campo Novo, passing through the church of San Vicente and the bus station, more than 18 kg of garbage were collected.

Secret in proximity

Bold and innovative intimacy is the Ageas Seguros bet that changed acting. Marco Sampaio, mediator of Ageas Seguros, confirms that “we have clients who congratulate us on this.” Residents, without exception, were also invited to participate and share this inspiring spirit in favor of encouraging more sustainable, responsible and inclusive behaviour. And membership was in sight.

For Daniel Pinto of the Junta de San Vicente (who is running for eco-freguesia) “it is commendable when companies have such social responsibility”; his ability to influence “only benefits our community, our city, our country.”

Turning trash into art

Not in a figurative sense. After proper treatment, the waste collected during the green walk is processed and turned into a work of art that will be donated to the Braga City Council. As Marta Vicente says, “our brand will stay here”, a brand of the Ageas Portugal group, whose strategic axis is sustainability.

Celebrate the initiative, support the culture

Who has been to Praça, the restored Municipal Market of Braga, say so. When the ecological mission was completed, the night came with dancing and music from the TOP 5 group. But there were still many surprises for all the people passing by, such as popcorn, apples and ecological gifts.

This party brought together Ageas Seguros and Correio da Manhã, supported by the municipality of Braga, to celebrate Portuguese culture and artists. And spice up even more this summer.

Beja: the party goes on

The Ageas Seguros Party will return, always with the same promise: to spread joy throughout the country while caring for the environment.

The next initiative is already planned: Beja.
