Domingos López was one of the names proposed by the Commission on Recruitment and Selection for Public Administration (CReSAP) to succeed Adelaide Franco, who resigned as IEFP president after a controversy over improperly receiving unemployment benefits reported by Negócios.
In addition to Domingos López, Ana Mendez Godinho also chose as a member Paulo Langrove, who has been in the IEFP since May as a replacement, as was the case with Adelaide Franco, by the way.
The Ministry of Labour, Solidarity and Social Protection said in a statement that the two names were submitted today for a “hearing of the social partners with a seat on the Standing Commission for Social Dialogue”.
