A 13-year-old girl was found without shoes on the street in Brooklyn, New York, USA after being reported missing.
The girl, Jena Kaliya-Henry, was seen on the street this Wednesday. Liberty Avenue, several hundred miles from where she was kidnapped, in Pennsylvania. According to the newspaper New York Postit was she who told the authorities that she had been kidnapped.
Police have arrested the suspect, a 47-year-old man. Dwayne Taylor reportedly took the girl from his home in Reading, Pennsylvania.
On Wednesday, the Pennsylvania police contacted New York authorities about the kidnapping, saying the suspect lives near the Broadway Junction subway station.
Authorities do not believe “it was an accidental kidnapping” because there may have been a connection between the kidnapper and the victim.
Kalia-Henry was taken to the hospital and then taken home.
