Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa was in Angola for the funeral of José Eduardo dos Santos and will travel to Brazil on Tuesday to take part in the celebration of the country’s bicentenary of independence. Then he goes to Argentina.
During his first term as head of state, Marcelo made 80 foreign trips and visited 39 countries. Since the 2021 presidential election, Marcelo Rebelo de Souza has made 104 trips abroad to 43 different countries, 27 of which he has only visited once.
