This Thursday, CP warned customers of train disruptions on the 12th, 14th and 16th of this month due to the Infraestruturas de Portugal (IP) workers’ strike, adding that minimal service is expected.
“We inform you that due to the strike announced by the workers’ representative organization IP – Infraestruturas de Portugal (Rail Infrastructure Manager), train traffic disruptions are expected at the national level on the 12th, 14th and 16th. September 2022,” he warned in an email sent to customers.
The company also said that during the strike it is planned to provide minimum services, which will be determined by the arbitration court.
Customers who have already purchased tickets for Alfa Pendular, Intercidades, Internacional, InterRegional and Regional trains can request a full refund or revalidation.
Return requests can be made through the CP website or at the checkout.
