Doubts about democracy in the refugee crisis

This is shown by the survey data from the pollsters Peter Ulram and Peter Hajek.

The greatest dissatisfaction was during the refugee crisis in 2015/16; at that time, 54 percent were very or somewhat dissatisfied. In the corona crisis, 39 percent express dissatisfaction, 59 percent satisfaction. Overall, 83 percent prefer democracy. Eight percent want a dictatorship, four percent don’t care about the form of government (rest no information). The percentage of democrats has decreased from 90 percent in the past few years, but for Ulram there has been no significant increase in authoritarian potential over the years, which has always been around ten percent (currently: 12 percent). The proportion of those who think little of democracy is higher among vaccine skeptics than among its supporters.
