STORY: Ukrainian authorities have discovered a mass grave with more than 440 bodies in the recaptured city of Izyum. That said President Zelenskyj in his daily video address on Thursday. He blamed Russia for the dead and compared the discovery of the mass grave to what happened in February in Bucha, a suburb of the capital Kyiv. According to the police, people died from artillery fire or air raids. It is the largest mass grave to date in the recaptured areas of eastern Ukraine. All bodies should therefore be forensically examined. Thousands of Russian soldiers fled Izjum last weekend. They had occupied the city in the Kharkiv region for months. Russia has repeatedly denied committing war crimes or targeting civilians.
