Quick poll after the second TV triad of the Chancellor candidate: inside ARD and ZDF: Despite the sometimes violent exchange of blows, SPD Chancellor candidate Olaf Scholz can confirm his upward trend.
SPD chancellor candidate Olaf Scholz won the second TV triall before the federal election. This was the result of a quick poll by the polling institute Infratest-dimap directly after the program moderated by ZDF presenter Maybrit Illner and ARD editor-in-chief Oliver Köhr.
When asked who made the best impression at the Triell, 41 percent of those questioned answered Olaf Scholz. CDU candidate Armin Laschet followed in second place with 27 percent. 25 percent thought Green candidate Annalena Baerbock was the winner.
The gaps were slightly smaller among those surveyed who rated themselves as undecided. Here Scholz led with 36 percent, ahead of Laschet and Baerbock with 25 percent each. Of the supporters of the respective parties, more than 70 percent rated their own applicant as the most convincing.
Annalena Baerbock: Most likeable for many
When asked which: r candidate: had the most likable effect, Annalena Baerbock was ahead. They found 39 percent of those questioned particularly likeable, closely followed by Olaf Scholz (34 percent). On the sympathy question, CDU candidate Laschet landed in third place with 18 percent. When asked about the vigor, the Green applicant was in first place with 41 percent, ahead of Scholz (28 percent) and Laschet (25 percent).
When asked about the impression of competence, Scholz clearly dominated with 49 percent, followed by Laschet with 26 and Baerbock with 18 percent. When it came to the question of credibility, Scholz was also ahead with 39 percent. Baerbock and Laschet followed tied with 26 percent each.
When asked who of the three would be directly elected Chancellor, 43 percent said they were in favor of Scholz after the Triell. It was followed by Laschet with 24 percent ahead of Baerbock with 19 percent. Before the broadcast, 43 percent of the same respondents had also spoken out in favor of Scholz. However, only 19 percent opted for Laschet and only 13 percent for Baerbock. So both could improve.
