The film “The el-Masri case” by Stefan Eberlein about your kidnapping by the CIA has now been awarded the Robert Geisendörfer Prize. Is that a belated satisfaction for you?
That’s good, but my trust in the judiciary remains shattered.
The Greens, who have criticized “the torture of a German citizen,” are now in government. Do you hope that the federal government will apologise?
I do not believe that.
The US Senate has admitted your detention “was not warranted”. Are you waiting for an apology from the US?
