Stephan Weil used today to do his property tax return. They like people like that in Lower Saxony: typically calm, down-to-earth – and obviously competent if half a day was enough for him to deal with the tax madness. After all, Weil had more to do that Sunday: He was elected and he was elected. The SPD man will not only be allowed to remain prime minister, but depending on the situation from now on in a coalition that was one of those long believed dead: red-green.
