“Incompetence” and “climate catastrophe”: Youtuber Rezo has already published two videos under the heading “Destruction” ahead of the federal election next week. Now a third follows.
A good week before the general election, the Youtuber Rezo spoke up again with a video and sharply criticized corruption in politics.
In the 43-minute long video, he buttons, among other things, the deals initiated by individual Union politicians in the procurement of corona protective masks. Rezo also denounces high party donations from large companies and lobbyists exerting influence on laws.
The man with the striking blue head of hair became known to a wide audience in 2019 when he attracted a lot of attention with the video “Destruction of the CDU” – at that time shortly before the European elections. His new video is based on it, at least in terms of the title: «Destruction FINALE: Corruption». The concrete examples that Rezo is working on are essentially already known.
The Youtuber complains about a “failure” of state control bodies and too lax transparency rules. As the parties that, as evidenced by their election manifestos, wanted to do the most against corruption and lobbying, he mentions the Greens and the Left, with some reservations also the SPD.
