SPD chancellor candidate Olaf Scholz has made the so-called lateral thinker movement jointly responsible for the fatal shot at a petrol station employee. “Because it is those who make inflammatory, divisive speeches who ultimately helped create a climate in which this deed became possible in this man’s head,” said Scholz yesterday in Cologne.
“And that’s why you share responsibility for that,” said the Vice Chancellor. “All the lateral thinker scenes who give such speeches, and those who incite from right-wing extremists on this issue, not only divide our country, but they create such unrest that such acts happen.”
