300,000 voter contacts by Sunday – this was the goal of VP regional manager Wolfgang Hattmannsdorfer on Friday and once more created the mood for “electing the governor directly”. Thomas Stelzer himself asked for a clear government mandate: “We ask you to do so until the last minute before voting.”
At the VP final press conference he again had to face the questions about the FP and the statements of Herbert Kickl: “The future labor agreement is about Upper Austria, it is not influenced by what Kickl brings to the election.” While Stelzer himself found very clear words about the identities in the pastoral office, he did not demand these from his still-government partner: “The voters can get their own picture of all this.”

Kickl was not only a topic in the election campaign, but was also often a guest in Upper Austria. Last yesterday at the official end of the “Freedom Tour”, as the FP called its election campaign.
FP top candidate emphasized in the Design Center Manfred Haimbuchner the blue core topics of security in relation to migration and freedom in terms of corona measures and vaccination decisions. Kickl remained true to its image and struck a sweeping blow against all political competitors.

Several parties took advantage of the climate strike on Friday, which was supported by many organizations. Not only the Greens – above all top candidate Stefan Kaineder – but also the Neos marched with them.
In doing so, the top candidate received Felix Eypeltauer Support from his federal party leader Beate Meinl-Reisinger. She is still present at the end of the elections in Linz, after which Eypeltauer will have a community tour on the program.

Many SP representatives also marched with the climate strike, and they were no longer present at the final rally, because the official election campaign ended at the same time on the main square. Also there: party leader Pamela Rendi-Wagner and the top candidates from all constituencies. It will run until the last minute, according to the party leader Birgit Gerstorfer.
