There is one for whom the citizen’s income is almost as important as for the people who should have 53 euros more in their accounts from January. His name is Hubertus Heil and he has been Minister of Labor and Social Affairs since 2018, SPD man through and through, fan of support and demands. On the Wednesday before the new citizens’ allowance is passed by the Bundestag, he is visiting Facturee, a startup on a former factory site in the Berlin district of Wedding.
