MFG boss against masks, against testing, against vaccination

The defense attorney, who has his office at a posh address in downtown Vienna, rejects masks, tests and the corona vaccination. He tried to bypass all of these measures and did not go to bars or supermarkets, said Brunner. He put on a mask where he had no choice, for example at the court. “I avoid going where I have to put a mask on, but I put it on where I am regulated.”

MFG demands that all Corona measures be ended immediately, Brunner also leads numerous complaints before the Constitutional Court against the Corona restrictions. He is not a corona denier. “Of course there is the disease and it is dangerous for certain groups.” These groups, such as the elderly or people with previous illnesses, must also be protected, says Brunner.

“But if there are specific groups that need to be protected, then it cannot be argued that the entire rest of the population is being reprimanded with completely excessive measures.” In addition, “the masks are of no use and are even harmful to health” because they would lead to CO2 compression in a very short time, explained Brunner. “The mask has its place in the medical field. It helps against bacteria, but not against viruses.” In the general population, it has rather the function of a “virus thrower”. “People wear them for days, put them in their pockets, tug at them, the mask gets damp.”

Brunner also does not consider the PCR tests to be meaningful and therefore not suitable for justifying restrictions of freedom and lockdowns from them. “The PCR test cannot detect any infection in asymptomatic individuals.” The party leader also rejected the corona vaccination. “I am not against vaccinations. I am vaccinated against various diseases.” When he was in Africa, he got vaccinated against malaria and hepatitis. “Vaccinations have a purpose and are basically an achievement. But the corona vaccination is not a vaccination because it cannot provide sterile immunity. It is only approved under certain conditions. There are no essential studies.” Therefore nobody should be forced to do so.

In addition, there are “enormous vaccine damage”, Brunner referred to figures from the database of the European Medicines Agency (EMA), which are repeatedly quoted by vaccination opponents, according to which there are 900,000 vaccine damage cases and 14,000 deaths. And that is only a fraction, because only one to ten percent are reported. Extrapolated there are nine million, so Brunner. The EMA regularly rejects such claims by opponents of vaccinations and regularly publishes updates on the safety of the Covid-19 vaccines approved in the EU.

The MFG people are of course not impressed by that. You fight for the rule of law, democracy and fundamental rights. “In my opinion, the corona measures are not evidence-based,” said Brunner. The government’s freedom-restricting measures “can no longer be legally upheld”.

MFG therefore also wants to compete in the upcoming elections in Salzburg and Carinthia. One has not yet thought about a candidacy for the Federal President election. The movement is supported and financed by the population and donations. There are now 4,000 members who pay a membership fee of 35 euros. For the election in Upper Austria, 100,000 euros were spent, but the success was also due to the many volunteers who “did educational work,” said Brunner.
