Price brake: How the state wants to relieve electricity and gas customers

From January it will be braked. The government has agreed on the details of the price brakes on gas and electricity. The good news: the help comes automatically. The bad news: Electricity and heating are becoming more expensive for most people.

Sometimes Robert Habeck can get really fidgety. All this criticism of the traffic light coalition’s plans to relieve citizens and companies of energy prices. This malice about incomprehensible braking mechanisms and overly complex compensation regulations. Basically, the matter is quite simple: the state pays, the citizens pay less and – the important thing: you don’t have to take care of anything yourself, don’t call anyone, don’t submit any applications. The relief just comes to them.
