- With regard to the previous leadership in the Ukraine and energy crisis, however, only 11 percent of Germans have the impression that Scholz acts more decisively and decisively than his predecessor Merkel from the CDU. According to the survey, 51 percent said Scholz acted less decisively and decisively than Merkel. 35 percent would see no big difference between Scholz’ and Merkel’s administration.
