Others consider it quite conceivable that Hans-Georg Maassen cultivated radical ideas even when he was Germany’s top secret service officer – and are calling for an investigation into his six-year tenure at the head of the domestic secret service.
Either way, now – in January 2023 – at least the end of the CDU member Hans-Georg Maassen seems to be getting closer. Numerous, also prominent representatives of the Christian Democrats are calling for Maassen’s recent statements (der star reported) the party exclusion of the 60-year-old.
