People make fun of reeling Joe Biden. It is admirable how the US President deals with his stutter.
I watched Joe Biden’s policy statement in a pub in New York, one of those few old bars still alive amid Manhattan’s gentrification. Finding a place to broadcast the State of the Union wasn’t easy because it was simultaneously showing basketball and hockey and Super Bowl previews.

Reactions to Biden were mixed, as might be expected. Some people don’t like him and don’t want him running again in 2024. Others like him, but still don’t want him to compete again at the age of 82. There was an unusual unity in this dimly lit bar in this deeply divided country.
