Apparently it is only about departmental responsibilities. In terms of content, everything is probably in the towel, because at the FPÖ, the state party executive has already approved the program. According to reports, the ÖVP should do this on Wednesday. The presentation of Black-Blue II is expected on Thursday.
Today, Tuesday, there were again talks between the old and probably new government partners. It was only about the allocation of departments, was heard from the FPÖ, the committees had already approved the content. It is known that the remaining FPÖ government members LHStv. Manfred Haimbuchner (Housing) and Provincial Councilor Günther Steinkellner (Transport) want to keep their previous areas of responsibility. Wolfgang Klinger has to vacate his regional council chair. It can be assumed that in the constituent session of the state parliament on October 23, no decision will be taken and that the ÖVP will have four government members in addition to the state governor – and thus one more state councilor than before.

It is expected that the previous ÖVP state manager Wolfgang Hattmannsdorfer will move into the state government. However, it is unclear what agendas he will get. Klinger was previously responsible for disaster control and water issues, Hattmannsdorfer is considered a social politician and exponent of a strict integration policy.
According to their own statements, red and green do not yet know anything about their future tasks in the proportional government: So far, the SPÖ has not spoken about the division of departments, it said on Tuesday from the party headquarters. But there should be a conversation on Wednesday afternoon. Regional Councilor Birgit Gerstorfer is currently responsible for the social sector.
The information status at the Greens is similar: So far, neither has been informed about the progress of the coalition talks nor a future division of responsibilities, but Wednesday afternoon a meeting between Governor Thomas Stelzer (ÖVP) and Regional Councilor Stefan Kaineder (Greens) is scheduled. Kaineder is currently responsible for the environment and integration.
