According to Russian sources, the Russian Navy repelled a drone attack on the Crimean peninsula annexed by Moscow. The city’s governor, Mikhail Rasvozhayev, who is supported by the Kremlin, said via Telegram that “the Black Sea Fleet repelled a drone attack on Sevastopol”. Accordingly, the drones “attempted to enter our bay, our sailors shot at them with small arms”. The air defense also “worked”. A total of “three objects” were destroyed.
Rasvozhayev said there were no casualties and no ships were damaged. But the explosions shattered windows in nearby buildings. The situation is “under control”. Russia had already reported a drone attack on Crimea on Tuesday, which was repelled. Ukraine, on the other hand, said Russian cruise missiles were destroyed in an explosion in Crimea, but denied responsibility.
