Mainz. It was a proud moment when Nino Haase wore the important chain of office of the Mayor of Mainz for the first time. “For me, it’s an incredible event that touches me very much,” said the just 39-year-old new city manager: “I’m going into this office with a lot of humility, a lot of determination and a lot of respect, and I want the people in Mainz to be approachable , become a convincing and non-partisan mayor.”
