According to the security expert Christian Mölling, the stationing of Russian nuclear weapons in Belarus is a breach of the nuclear non-proliferation treaty, an attempt at intimidation and an action that – if the West did something comparable – “Russia would freak out”. Nevertheless, Mölling showed himself in conversation for the star– “Ukraine – the situation” on Sunday confident that the use of nuclear weapons in Europe is no closer: “No, not at all,” assured the research director of the German Society for Foreign Relations.
