Traffic light coalition: withered love because of dispute over climate policy

The traffic light coalition has fallen out hopelessly over climate policy. The Greens feel run over by an alliance of Chancellor, SPD and FDP.

You can rely on Christian Lindner. If necessary, the FDP leader always has a suitable saying in stock. “People keep quiet about each other. Discuss things together,” tweeted the finance minister at the end of the apparently never-ending negotiations in the coalition committee. And then announced the good news that there were only winners among the traffic light partners because “everyone can represent each point well and everyone has a special point that they are particularly happy about”.
