A 14-year-old was arrested in France for preparing an Islamist attack in a town in Alsace right on the German border. A spokesman for the Ministry of the Interior in Paris said on Wednesday that the police had secured an explosive device from the Islamist radicalized youth.
The access took place on Tuesday morning in Rosenau, a place near the German city of Lörrach on the other side of the Rhine. According to media reports, the French security authorities only became aware of the young person a few days ago. He had therefore made an explosive device with ingredients he had bought himself.
As the newspaper “Le Parisien” reported, the youth wanted to carry out an attack on behalf of the terrorist militia “Islamic State”.
