The investigations into the cause of the serious accident involving two Puma infantry fighting vehicles at the Army Combat Training Center (GÜZ) near Gardelegen (Saxony-Anhalt) have ended. The analysis has been completed, said a spokesman for the Bundeswehr. Further information, for example about the course of the accident, should therefore not be communicated, the results of the investigation remained “internal”.

The affected soldiers belonged to a unit from Munster in Lower Saxony. The GÜZ near Gardelegen is a central army training center for the Puma infantry fighting vehicle.
