STORY: For the fourth time within a few days, the Ukrainian capital Kiev has become the target of a drone attack. The city was attacked for around 20 minutes on Thursday evening, the local authorities reported. At least two drones were shot down by the air defense systems. In this context, Ukraine says it has also destroyed one of its own drones. It was said that control of the aircraft was lost during a scheduled flight in the Kiev region on Thursday. Therefore, the drone was destroyed in the air. The cause of the problem was probably a technical defect. The local authorities issued an alarm for the capital and its surroundings. Residents who had gone to shelters said the drones arrived faster than usual after the alert was called. There were initially no reports of injuries. After the downed drones crashed, two fires broke out. But they were said to have been deleted.
