You sat at the cabinet table for eleven years. Nobody has been Minister for Development and Economic Cooperation for as long as you. How much do you lack office and influence?

I’m still pursuing the themes of my life: to do something with all my might to counteract climate change, discrimination against women, pandemics and still deadly diseases like HIV and malaria. I did that when I was in the EU Parliament, then in the Bundestag and as a minister.
