On November 1st, the higher regional courts (OLG) Vienna and Linz get a new president, on Tuesday they have their first working day.
As reported, changes Katharina Lehmayer from Linz to Vienna and succeeds Gerhard Jelinek, who is retiring. Erich Dietachmair, previously President of the Steyr Regional Court, will succeed Lehmayer at the head of the Linz Higher Regional Court. Both were proposed after hearings by the Personnel Senate of the Supreme Court and Justice Minister Alma Zadic (Green), Federal President Alexander Van der Bellen gave his signature in June and at Dietachmair on October 18.
The position of President of the Steyr Regional Court has been advertised. The deadline is November 19th. The current LG Vice President Christoph Mayer is considered a favorite to succeed Dietachmair. (az)
