The psychotherapist Franca Cerutti says: “I would often wish that expert opinions would also be left to experts.” Cerutti knows from her professional experience that most people in Germany are currently suffering from the uncertainty about how the pandemic will continue. “I think people absolutely need perspective and also clarity.” The government also holds them accountable: “I think we need much clearer signals as to what happens when and why.”

In Germany we talk about scarcity when the supermarket shelves are empty and no toilet paper is available for ten minutes. But: Here the shelves are replenished within a very short time. This is simply different in some countries in the world. “Stern” reporter Marc Goergen therefore visited a project in Kenya that was initiated by “stern” together with Welthungerhilfe, in a village called Kinakoni.
