According to Ukrainian sources, more than 30 people, including several children, were injured in Russian attacks in the Kharkiv region on Tuesday. A local resident reports: “I was lying on the sofa and then suddenly there was an explosion. The balcony was torn down, the doors were blown out.” The governor of Kharkiv region, via news app Telegram, said the shelling happened at 1:35 p.m. local time. He also reported that the windows of several multi-storey buildings were shattered and showed pictures of the aftermath of the attack. Russia, which began invading Ukraine in February 2022, almost a year and a half ago, initially did not comment on the shelling. Moscow has denied targeting civilian targets since the beginning of the war.
